Taipei, Taiwan, September 13 ~ 16, 2011

With the advancement of MEMS technologies, wireless ad hoc and sensor networks have opened up broad application prospects. For example, wireless sensor networks could provide fine granularity real-time physical world sensing, which is a critical enabler for new products and services in a range of commercial and government sectors. On the other hand, the challenges for the development of wireless ad hoc and sensor networks also encompass a broad spectrum of research topics including computing platform miniaturization, low-power radio and autonomous networking. The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners from different backgrounds to exchange ideas, discuss solutions, and share experience.

The topics include but not limited to:

  • Cloud applications
  • VANET applications
  • Mobile P2P and overlay networks
  • Data dissemination
  • 3G/4G
  • Middleware
  • Mobile data management (Schedule/Cache/Replica/Index/Query/etc)
  • Routing and messaging protocols
  • Privacy and security applications
  • Energy and resource management
  • Location based services
  • Resource management
  • Multiple access schemes
  • Localization and tracking
  • Fault tolerance and redundancy schemes
  • Multimedia/QoS communications
  • Novel applications of wireless, ad hoc, and sensor networks

Submission Guidelines

Original papers from the above mentioned and related topics will be considered. Paper submissions should be formatted according to the IEEE standard double-column format with a font size 10 pt or larger. Each paper is strictly limited to 10 pages in length. The format sample and templates can be found at:

http://www.ieee.org/portal/cms_docs/pubs/confpubcenter/pdfs/samplems.pdf

Papers should be submitted in pdf format together with a short abstract (approximately 150 words) via email attachment to the email address: This email address is being protected from spambots.
